Fig 'Diggers Purple Heart' Chilli Now available in the sameDonated to Diggers by Cheryl Dingle, a Diggers member from regional Victoria. Cheryl's tree came from a cutting from a farm in Alexandra, and was reported to have been brought into Australia by a Spanish or Italian immigrant in the late 1800s. Cheryl named it 'The Heart Fig' after the distinctive heart shaped leaf, and described it as 'the Rolls Royce of figs'. Once we tasted it, we couldn't agree more! Delicious sweet fruit with a thin skin that
