Our 2' tall x 4' wide clump is composed of glossy, light green leaves that are much longer and narrower than typical H. plantaginea. The typical large, white, fragrant H. plantaginea like flowers top the clump in August. In the genus Hosta, Schmid indicates that this form arrived in Japan
