Cardstock government announcement. This sign was was produced by the USDA in the 1910s when the country was facing a meat crisis. Many different options were thrown around including imported hippopotamus meat. However, a simpler and cheaper solution was to encourage the population to invest their resources in poultry and eggs. Lo and behold, the idea worked and to
