With a conventional full length sizer, brass stretches a little every time it is resized, so cases need trimming back to length again and again. The X Die works differently: its specially designed mandrel sits close inside the neck and controls how far the case can grow during sizing, while the tight tolerance between mandrel and die wall stops the
